I have a problem with getting dehydrated. I passed out on the street in Washington DC a couple years ago during Rolling Thunder weekend. And just a year ago this week, I passed out while actually on my bike, rolled into a truck. I ended up in the hospital for 5 days – my hemoglobin was at 3/4 — normal is 12 – my BP in the ambulance was 70/30, and my heart rate was 140. And I was severely dehydrated – again.
I can’t stand plain water. It’s just gross to me. Getting Mio, or Crystal Lite make it a lot more palatable for me. But I love Southern Sweet Tea – that stuff is just awesome. It’s got caffeine in it, but it’s always an option to make it decaf.
So, how do you make it with cannabis? Oh, it is so easy. Use your favorite recipe. But, you’re going to add in a cup of canna-sugar. Literally – that easy. I love my tea dark. So, here is how I made it.
I took 5 regular teabags and I tossed them into the basket of my coffee pot. Ten cups of water and I brewed the tea in my coffee pot. No muss – no fuss, kids. Then, one cup of canna-sugar. Poured everything into a pitcher – put it in the fridge. Next morning, I filled my Bubba. Sipped 20 oz of Southern Canna-SaWEEET Tea all morning.
Making canna-sugar is easy. I’ve covered it before. One tablespoon of tincture to one cup of sugar. Mix them in a bowl. Spread into a thin layer on a cookie sheet. 200 degree oven for 30 minutes. That is it. It’s probably one of the easiest things you can make. I have used canna-sugar in coffee, sweet tea, regular tea, in cereal… any where your recipes calls for sugar…
You have to continually mix your drinks when using canna-sugar. Once the sugar dissolves, you’re going to see a layer of oily residue on the top of your drink. That’s the cannabis. My Bubba cup has a straw with a paddle on the bottom. I used that to continually mix the tea as I drank it. Otherwise, what will happen is instead of the microdose of THC/CBD that you are looking for, you’ll get to the bottom of your cup and take it all in at once. Then you’ll end up in couch lock. Not a good thing when you are at work or someplace out in public.
Have a great day y’all!!!
