CannaTea! Yes!!!

So, earlier this in this blog I posted a SweetTea recipe. And we did thoroughly enjoy it. But, I use canna-sugar for a few different things. Apple Pie post is coming soon! It can get a little time consuming.

Earlier in 2020, my dispensary came out with tea bags with cannabis in them. But at $17 for five servings, well… that cost adds up and fast. But I did buy two packages so I could do a little research.

First, they were made with Bigelow tea. Okay, easy enough, although I am partial to Lipton. But, could this be replicated. The answer is a resounding YES!

The first thing I did was look on Amazon for empty tea bags and tea balls. For this, I chose the tea bags, because of their portability. A couple of tea bags can be put in a sandwich baggie and slipped into a small purse or even the inside pocket on a coat or jacket.

So, I emptied a Lipton teabag into one of the bags, and added one teaspoon of activated/decarbed ground flower. Tie up the bag to seal your now precious medicinal tea. BOOM! That’s it! Literally just go ahead and make tea like you normally would!

The beautiful thing about this is you can use your favorite brand of tea. Mint tea? Sure! Additional “herb” in your herbal tea? Go for it! Need a little more cannabis? Well, go ahead. This is entirely customizable. Your tea, your way. It’s an easy and discreet way to dose yourself. I hope you have a great day!
