French toast! That warm, familiar smell of cinnamon, with a hint of vanilla and sugar, with buttery, sticky maple syrup… oh, French toast on a winter morning is absolutely amazing. With some bacon or sausage, well…. *sigh*
So, check it out! I made French toast for dinner tonight. My basic French toast batter is pretty basic. Eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla extract. And the beauty of this little dosing hack: you can use your own favorite batter.

So, that’s what you see here, before I added the milk. So, I made enough batter for 8 slices. But I added a little extra “savory” to it. A teaspoon and a half of decarbed/activated flower. I used a whisk to really incorporate it into the batter.

We like our French toast with a little crisp on it. So, when I put it on the griddle, I always sprinkle a little sugar on the surface of the bread. It gives your toast a hint of caramel to it.

There you are, add syrup and enjoy.
**BONUS TIP: Feel free to make extra, put in a freezer bag. Make sure you label it as medicated. Especially if you live with children. But, you can heat them up in the microwave for a quick breakfast!
