
The munchies… let’s talk about the post sesh munchies, shall we? They hit – and they hit hard. And you never know what you’re going to want. I think that’s why you can always pick out the marijuana aficionados in the grocery store, we’re the ones buying every type of snack they can, because who knows what is going sound good.
So, a couple weeks ago, I went to have girls night with my BFFS from high school. And when we have these get-togethers, we bring food, wine – whatever. So, I made two treats. The first, a POTHouse Cookie Bar. (Funny story – my friend’s husband, after we all left said he was feeling a little “weird”. Turns out, he didn’t see my THC stickers on the pan, and ate four of them. Thanks for flying THC Airlines, P.C.)
The other treat I made, chocolate chip cookie dough dip. We dipped our animal crackers in it (yeah, we fancy like that!!), and let me tell you, we demolished that stuff. And that was much to my husband’s dismay.
So, yesterday, I began thinking about that dip again and I wondered, could I make it the EIBWB way? Of course we could. Oh so easily.
Here’s what you need.
1oz activated kief
1 package 8oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese – room temperature FULL FAT VERSION — Remember the THC and fats conversation.
1/2 cup KerryGold Irish Butter INFUSED WITH CANNABIS – room temperature – and yes, you MUST use KerryGold. It has a higher fat content than other butters. Remember the THC and fats conversation.
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips — divided
Put cream cheese, butter and kief in a bowl and whisk together until fully incorporated. I prefer doing it by by hand, but you can use a mixer.
Once fully incorporated, add in your brown sugar and powdered sugar, and fully incorporated until your cream cheese, butter and kief mister. Add in your vanilla extract 1/4 tsp of salt – Fully incorporate the ingredients. Now, add in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips. Keep mixing until fully incorporated.
Put in a bowl, sprinkle the top with the remaining chocolate chips. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
Serve with graham crackers, animal crackers, cookies…
