Kush-Katz

This is all you need to make Kush-Katz

So, I love chocolate. I mean I really love chocolate. My two favorite candies are Reese’s Peanut Butter cups and Kit-Kats. If I could, I would live on them.

Previously, I made peanut budder balls and peanut budder cups. I began to think about Kit-Kats. How to recreate them with the addition of cannabis. Discussing with T & S, we thought sugar wafers, dipped in chocolate that had cannabis in it. It was so amazingly simple, we knew we would have a hit.

So, it’s easy enough to add cannabis to chocolate. I have previously said I am lazy. I don’t have the time or the inclination to get fancy. I need stuff that’s easy. Remember, I’m using medical cannabis to treat chronic pain. There is only so much I can do before fatigue gets into my joints

Let’s get busy!

I wanted these to be strong. So, what you see in this picture is 2 cups of chocolate chips, and 3 tablespoons of activated flower that I then ground into a powder in my mortar and pestle. I then put that on a double boiler to melt the chocolate. There is one of the three inner packages of the sugar wafers on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Melted Chocolate and Cannabis
Almost done

I used a pastry brush and “painted” one side of the sugar wafer cookies. Then I put them in the fridge for 10 minutes to cool the chocolate. Took them out of the fridge, and “painted” the other side of cookies. Back into the fridge.

The finished product! Yum!!!

ETA: I had two of these little sweeties and I am BAKED. DO NOT OPERATE MACHINERY – Don’t have them and drive. These are potent
